GREECE
In Thessaloniki (23/06/2024), Greece, specifically at the WEHUB, the dissemination event for the Digital Inclusion VET (DVET) Project was held. The primary objective was to present the results and digital tools developed to address the digital skills gap in adults over the age of 45. The event was attended by a diverse audience, including entrepreneurs and representatives of public bodies, who were welcomed with informational material about the project. The opening remarks were delivered by Apostolina Tsaltampasi, CEO of OECON GROUP, and Alexandra Thomaidou, EU Funded Project Manager, who highlighted the strategic importance of the project in an era of digital transformation and the collaborative European effort that drove it.
During the day, a general overview of the DVET project was provided, detailing its rationale, objectives, and the activities undertaken. Special emphasis was placed on the presentation of the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) platform, one of the project’s main tools. A live demonstration of this platform was conducted, designed to be intuitive and accessible for users with low to moderate digital skills. Furthermore, the DVET mobile application was introduced, which complements the MOOC platform and offers greater flexibility for learning through mobile devices, including features such as offline access.
The event was notable for its participatory approach, combining formal presentations with open dialogue and practical sessions. A “Living Labs” session was organised where attendees, divided into small groups, could explore the MOOC platform and the mobile application in a hands-on manner. This direct interaction allowed participants to experience the user-friendliness of the tools and receive personalised guidance. The event concluded with a networking session, fostering the creation of a community around digital inclusion and the exploration of future collaborations. The event successfully achieved its aim of raising awareness and encouraging the adoption of the presented tools, receiving a positive reception from the attendees.

ITALY
In Matera, on the 9th and 30th of June 2025, two final dissemination events for the Digital Inclusion VET (DVET) project were held. The primary goal was to showcase the activities and results achieved over the project’s two-year lifespan and to foster networking among local stakeholders. The events drew a varied audience, including vocational education and training (VET) teachers, entrepreneurs, municipal representatives, and individuals over 45, the project’s key target group. Each event began with registration and networking before official proceedings commenced with a welcome from Studio Risorse.
The core of the events consisted of detailed presentations on the project’s main outcomes. An overview of the entire project was followed by a presentation of the “Handbook for VET teachers,” delivered by Oscar Trull from IES Gonzalo Anaya, who highlighted its availability in multiple languages and an innovative ePub format. The project’s technical partner, iInformatica, then demonstrated the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) platform, explaining the registration process, the structure of its six educational modules, and the self-assessment features.
Finally, iInformatica presented the “Virtual Tutor” mobile application, a tool designed to support unemployed individuals over 45. They demonstrated how to download and use the app, showcasing its sections for training courses, local job offers, technological updates, and a feature for contacting tutors directly for assistance. Each event concluded with an interactive Q&A session to gather valuable feedback, followed by participants completing a short, anonymous questionnaire to evaluate the quality of the proceedings.
